Membership Agreement

Pickup Policy

Greene Harvest CSA members are responsible for picking up their share(s) on Saturday mornings between 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM at Habana Outpost (757 Fulton Street at South Portland Avenue).

Please note:

• The entry gate will close promptly at 10:30 AM to allow for clean-up and ensure Habana Outpost can open on schedule.

• Late arrivals will not be admitted. Any unclaimed shares will be donated to a local organization.

• This policy is strictly enforced. CSA coordinators are not permitted to make exceptions, even in the case of late arrivals.

Shared Risk & Seasonal Variation

CSA membership involves a shared commitment to local farming. Members acknowledge that weather, pests, and other natural conditions may affect the harvest. Weekly shares typically include 8-10 varieties of seasonal vegetables, but specific items and quantities will vary. This shared "risk and bounty" model also applies to any optional add-on shares.

Work Shift Requirement

Each member is required to complete one work shift (8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.) on a Saturday during the season. This is essential to support weekly distribution and CSA operations.

Details are outlined in the full Work Shift Agreement. Members who do not fulfill this requirement may have their share discontinued and may be ineligible to rejoin in future seasons.

Refund & Transfer Policy

CSA shares are non-refundable.

Members who are unable to continue with their share may email the CSA team to be connected with individuals on the waiting list for a potential transfer.
