Work Shift Agreement

All Greene Harvest CSA members are required to complete one work shift during the season. Work shifts take place on Saturday mornings from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM during weekly distribution. Work shift duties include unloading vegetables from the supply truck, packing up shares, and distributing shares to fellow members.

Scheduling

Work shifts are scheduled through SignUp.com. The link is listed on the sign up form.

Punctuality

Members must arrive on time at 8:00 AM to receive credit for completing the shift.

Accommodations

Members with physical limitations or other concerns may contact the Distribution Coordinator to request a modified assignment.

If You Need to Change Your Work Shift

To avoid gaps in coverage, members are strongly encouraged to swap shifts with another member.

Suggested methods for arranging a swap include:

• Talking with other members during distributions

• Posting in the CSA's Facebook group

• Messaging through the CSA's Google Group

To make a swap official, members must email the Distribution Coordinator at distribution@ghcsa.org and copy all members involved in the swap.

If a member chooses not to swap, they may request to reschedule. However, they must provide at least 48 hours' notice for rescheduling and requires completing an additional shift. This policy helps prevent under-staffing during distributions

Missed or Unfulfilled Shifts

Failure to provide 48 hours' notice and a valid reason for rescheduling or missing a shift may result in ineligibility for membership renewal, except in cases of emergency.
